Fifi’s Rainbow Ramen

Some projects are cool. Others are delicious. And then there’s Fifi’s Rainbow Ramen - a vibrant, hand-crafted idea that turned into something truly unforgettable.

Fifi has always loved ramen. But like every great young creator at Vivistop, she didn’t just want to enjoy it, she wanted to make it her own. Her vision? A bowl of ramen that looked like a rainbow, with naturally dyed noodles and a creamy, dreamy broth that matched the feeling of a cloudy sky.

It started with experiments in noodle dyeing. Fifi tried soaking noodles in a dye bath made from natural ingredients, purple cabbage, butterfly pea flower, beet, turmeric… but the color wouldn’t stick. After multiple trials and a lot of determination, we reached out to the pros for help.

Kamitoku Ramen offered advice on building the perfect broth, and it was no easy process. Fifi had to hammer bones just to get them to fit into the Instant Pot, a small but mighty moment of commitment that showed how serious she was about getting it right.

Then we visited Sun Noodle, where Fifi got a behind-the-scenes look at how ramen is made at scale. With their support, we finally cracked the code: to get the color just right, it had to be infused into the dough itself before the noodles were rolled, cut, and boiled. That breakthrough changed everything.

After many test batches and plenty of trial and error, Fifi finally made it happen — a beautiful rainbow of naturally dyed ramen noodles, served in a silky, cloudy-toned broth. It was as good as it looked, and when she brought it to life, everyone at Vivistop was blown away.

We knew this wasn’t just another project. It was special. So we featured Fifi’s Rainbow Ramen at our One-Year Anniversary party… and again at our Two-Year Anniversary thanks to Sun Noodle. Because when you put that much creativity, curiosity, and heart into something, it deserves to be celebrated.

This project is the perfect reminder of what we’re all about. Start with a wild idea. Keep going, even when it gets hard. Ask for help. Get messy. Try again. And then one day, something magical comes out of it, something only you could’ve made.

We’re so proud of you, Fifi.
